Resources for the Therapist in Training

HELP, I’M OVERWHELMED!

Grad school is HARD, friends. Waking up in a sweat because you thought you missed a deadline. The anxiety that comes with wondering how your first session will go. It feels like you are a baby deer, barely knowing how to walk, being made to run from a wolf. Scary right?! It is also the most fulfilling, wonderful, and enriching experience.

Woman with book on her face

While feeling like we were being fed to the wolves, it was helpful for us to hear from those who understand and have made it to the other side. That’s why the GCC team has compiled a list of the podcasts, books, and other resources that provided us with support and knowledge while we were learning. If you are in grad school now, or a recent grad, feel free to email us with any questions or follow us on IG. We are here for you and you can do this!
